Not satisfied with the current products on the market, they launched their own brand in the middle of a global pandemic. Despite the challenges this presented, the brand continues to grown and gain success, with features in The Guardian, Evening Standard, and of course, leafie.
After learning more about the duo behind the company, we sent out a selection of their products to our independent review team to see how their products stacked up. A selection from the range has been with our consumers for a month now, here’s what they thought about Itgel.
Itgel 300mg CBD softgel capsules
I’ve been taking CBD capsules for a couple of years now to help with my sleep, skin and hormones. This is probably the 5th or 6th brand I’ve tried. Overall I feel Itgel’s CBD capsules stack up well against the other capsules I’ve used. My skin is nice and clear and I feel they have helped with my sleep. I can definitely notice the difference in my skin when I stop taking CBD capsules. The capsules are a nice size, easy to swallow and have no nasty smell or taste.
I’m happy with the product and would recommend them to friends. The branding is a bit ‘medical’ which wouldn’t appeal to me in shop, but I would imagine people who are looking for more of a clinical product vs a lifestyle product would be drawn to these on a shelf. If I had to be critical I would say that I would prefer a glass container to a plastic one but I don’t think that would put many people off buying.

Itgel 10% CBD oil
I am a primary school teacher and I am always looking for ways to reduce stress and anxiety. I started taking Itgel CBD oil for these reasons. I was particularly interested in taking this product as it was full spectrum and I wanted to see if I would feel the benefits of it. My first trial of CBD was with a CBD isolate oil and I don’t really feel like that made much of a difference, and to be honest, I was quite sceptical going onto this product.
The bottle came with simple instructions of taking 1-5 drops daily. I took one drop in the morning with my coffee and one drop at night before bed. The taste isn’t great but perseverance is key, you soon get used to it. I think this is a common issue with CBD oils. The pipet was easy enough to use however I would have appreciated more guidance on measurement, as I often just guessed the amount on both dosages.
I found whilst taking Itgel I was a lot more focused and would not waste time on thoughts I could not control.
I found quite a lot of benefits of using Itgel. I had previously tried another CBD product in the past but the benefits were not quite as obvious as this trial! It is no secret that teaching is a stressful job and it just so happened that I tried this product during two very overwhelming weeks. I am a huge over thinker and can sometimes be riddled with questioning my actions, decisions and sayings day to day – which as you can imagine is exhausting! I found whilst taking Itgel I was a lot more focused and would not waste time on thoughts I could not control. I was able to present to a board of governors without a battle with my inner dialogue telling me how much of a disaster I would be – which to me was quite a noticeable lightbulb moment that the CBD was working! I am also asthmatic and I had an asthma attack during this trial. I was able to calmly respond to the attack with the right inhalers and instruct those around me how to help me. I felt calmer than they did!
Coming from someone who is prone to panic and who takes medication for anxiety, I felt both events above were a sense of achievement and something I had not experienced during the years of taking pharmaceutical medication. I am really interested to see if I can continue to benefit from CBD and my anxiety can be reduced in the long run.

Itgel 300mg CBD gummies
I usually vape CBD but am trying to cut down. I don’t take CBD for any particular reason but I used to smoke lots of cannabis. I read a lot about how cannabinoids are good for you and the ECS so wanted to keep myself “topped up” without smoking or vaping as much. I also thought that maybe the gummies would stop my cravings to go and vape while at work.
I’ve managed to stop vaping quite easily, but I guess that’s the difference between CBD and nicotine. Any time I fancied going out for a quick smoke break I popped a gummy, so the tub didn’t last long if I’m honest. Hard to tell if they made a difference but I didn’t get stressed out or anything so I guess they worked!
The sweets are quite nice, fruity without being overly sugary. One of the flavours had a bit of a weird aftertaste but not horrible, just a bit planty? I guess that’s the CBD?!
I’m actually a bit gutted they ran out so will order some more to keep on the desk for when work goes a bit crazy, just need to remember they aren’t fruit pastilles!!
