We recently learnt more about the brand and couldn’t wait to get some of their award-winning products into the hands of our independent review team. As always, these reviews are the words of everyday CBD users and consumers who have tried the products for a few weeks to give them a proper road test. Here’s what they thought…
Orange County 1500mg CBD Oil
Have probably tried over 20 different CBD oils now from lots of different brands, and it always surprises me how different some products taste; all CBD is not created equally.
This oil is very light and I had to check it was actually a full spectrum oil. The oil has a nice grassy/hempy taste, not too strong or overpowering and actually quite pleasant if you like that sort of thing. Because the oil is light in texture and flavour, it is really easy on the palette and a pleasure to consume. I gave some to my friend who hadn’t tried CBD before because she didn’t think she would like the taste, and she was really surprised at how ‘nice’ it was – she was expecting to hate it.
I’ve seen Orange County around but haven’t tried their products before. What really stood out about this brand was the packaging, specifically the label. I didn’t realise at first but the label can be peeled back, and behind the label is a lot more information on the product. Amongst that information is a dosing chart which tells you how much to consume based on your body weight.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen this before and I would say that dosing is a problem every person struggles with, I consider myself a seasoned CBD user and even I didn’t really know exactly how much I should be taking until finding this chart; I’ve just been ‘guesstimating’. This is a great idea that makes me think the brand has the consumer in mind. I would recommend this brand and oil to anyone wanting to try CBD for the first time; it’s a good oil, in a good strength and a good price.

Orange County CBD Gummy Worms & CBD Gummy Cherries
The Gummy Worms were nice, kind of fruity flavoured and they tasted similar to other CBD gummies I have tried before. The Cherries are so tasty though!! If you told me these gummies were just normal sweets I would believe you. They are really nice and dangerously moreish! I’ve been taking these to control my anxiety and they definitely worked, the dose on these gummies is just right for me.

My only feedback would be that the cherries were a bit soft when compared to the ones you get in the pick n mix but I wouldn’t let that put me off buying these again. Yummy. 🙂

Orange County CBD Muscle & Joint Rub
I am currently training to do the Three Peaks challenge so I was looking forward to getting this CBD rub and it helping me with my aches and pains. The day after it came in the post I randomly woke up with a frozen shoulder in a completely non-training related injury, so I used some of the rub on my stiff shoulder before heading to work and within a couple of hours it was totally forgotten!
Since then I’ve been using it on my legs after the gym and walks at the weekend and it really does help soothe the muscles. I wake up feeling less achy which is a huge bonus. The rub has a nice smell and dries well but I would recommend washing your hands after applying.
