Hemp Point 3000mg CBD Oil
I would consider myself an experienced CBD consumer, having tried many different brands over the last 3-4 years, and having sampled many different types of oils in strength and formulation. I was happy to be asked to try Hemp Point’s 3000mg CBD oil by leafie as I believe the market needs more oils with a higher concentration of CBD.
The packaging of the product is fine, it has all the information one would expect to see post novel foods. I was pleased to see that the product is organic, and surprised this wasn’t a more prominent feature of the box. There are clear instructions on dosing and the amount of CBD per drop both on the box and on the bottle and a QR code you can scan to see detailed lab results. If I have one gripe, it’s that the QR code isn’t clear – I’m not sure many people know what a QR code is or how to use it.
As previously mentioned, I have been taking CBD for many years and in the early days high percentage CBD oils were ofter bitter and dark. This oil, however, is a pleasant light colour and has a punchy but not overpowering taste. It is inevitable that an oil high in CBD would taste strongly of hemp, but the extraction process has been done with care and the taste and smell is grassy but pleasant. If you are looking for an oil naturally high in CBD this is an excellent product.

Hemp Point Water Soluble CBD
CBD has been a great help to me on my health journey over the last 18 months. I have been taking it to help with my fitness and weight loss but if I am honest I do not like the taste. I was very excited to try the Hemp Point Water Soluble CBD in the hope that it would be the end of taking greasy oil twice a day!
My first try was in a glass of water. The box says that 1 drop has 2mg of CBD so I added 5 drops into a glass of water. I was very surprised that the drops are a sort of milky white colour, not what I am used to. I gave the water a quick stir before drinking. The taste is totally different, almost lemony? It isn’t a horrible taste but when I added it to my green smoothie it was even better. I’m really happy I’ve found a way to take CBD without drops of oil and as a vegetarian I was really happy these drops had added B vitamins.

As someone who has been under a lot of stress and pressure recently I have found my anxiety levels increasing. Family, work and personal life have all been difficult and I’ve found in the past CBD has helped tremendously.
For the last 2 weeks I have been taking 5 drops of Hemp Point 1000mg CBD twice a day. The product is professionally packaged and looks like a quality product. The oil is clear and clean looking and the taste is better than other oils I have tried in the past. I find that CBD takes some time to take effect with me, I have to take it consistently to get the benefits. After a week or so of taking 5 drops twice a day, I noticed my sleep improved and my anxiety reduced which is a great help.

Hemp Seed Oil
I’ve tried lots of CBD oils, many of which use hemp oil as a carrier, but I’ve never tried hemp oil on its own. When the bottle arrived, I was quite sure what to do with it. It’s a nice looking product, like something you’d pick up in a deli. I was expecting something more medical looking, and it was my intention to take a teaspoon of the oil like a supplement before the package arrived, so that was what I tried first. The hemp oil has a light green tinge, and a not unpleasant taste, almost nutty. It reminded me of a mild sesame oil.
While drinking(?) a spoonful of oil isn’t horrible, it’s not something I found myself keen to repeat, but I’ve been doing a lot of research into brain health, and I saw on the nutritional info that the product was high in omega 3 and 6. These fats are great for keeping the brain healthy, so I’ve been using the hemp oil when cooking instead. It’s great in salad dressings and delicious as a dipping oil for fresh bread with a pinch of sea salt. That subtle nutty taste gives a bit of extra depth compared to EVOO.
If I had one issue with the product, it’s that the security seal on the lid was a bit too good at its job, and I had to open to toolbox to remove the lid first time around! But that doesn’t detract from a really great product.
