By rights, every CBD brand should be a firm champion of the planet we live on. No industry has more thanks to give to Mother Nature than ours. We are all collective champions of a miracle plant that heals not only our bodies and minds, but the planet too.
The cannabis plant has a number of environmental credentials, from being a rapid scrubber of CO2 to cleaning up toxic soil, so it stands to reason that one brand in the UK is harnessing the power of CBD to not only help consumers, but the environment too.
Evopure was founded in 2019 by Elliot Blacker. Like many people who enter this industry, Elliot had experienced first-hand the benefits of CBD, after seeing a number of family members all taking CBD for various reasons, and having positive experiences. But at the same time, he noticed that none of the products seemed to have any consistency from one order to the next, and believed there had to be a better approach.

We try to break down each ingredient to educate the customer on why it’s been included, which forces us away from using cheaper ‘filler’ synthetic ingredients that aren’t very good for you” he tells us.
Transparency is something that has often been lacking in CBD products in the past, but as the market matures, and consumers become more educated, it is becoming a vital part of any brands communication with customers. “Our approach has really resonated with some disillusioned CBD customers, who trust Evopure’s education first approach whether that is up to 3rd party lab reports, proof of origin or ingredient breakdowns” Elliot says.
The Evopure website certainly backs up the founder’s claims, with a wealth of information on conditions, consumption and even lesser-known cannabinoids. The brand also has a online quiz for first timers, asking questions to match them with the perfect product.
As well as a strong focus on helping consumers through education, Evopure is committed to helping the environment. “When we started Evopure in 2019, we felt a responsibility to make sure that as the brand grew our impact on the environment would not grow with it,” Elliot says. “Fortunately, we found Greenspark who were able to help us on our journey of becoming an Earth Positive Business.
“We donate per employee and per order received, with the contributions going to CO2 and plastic clear up projects across the globe. This enables us to scale our environmental contribution as we grow”

With a commitment to transparency, education and the environment, it feels like Evopure has the solid foundations of a forward looking brand, what does the future hold for the company? “We have a number of UK made proprietary products such as our Relief CBD Balm which have been very well received by customers looking for all-natural remedies with CBD to target specific issues. We’ll continue to grow this proprietary product line targeting specific wellness goals, and we’ll be launching some exciting non-CBD sleep based supplements in the first half of this year!”
